Hello everybody !
I would like to introduce myself to let you know that I am not a blog editor but I just learn to edit it randomly. Why do I put Toukmeas as my blogs name and my blog title. Actually Toukmeas is my homeland located in the south of Cambodia which is in Kampot province. The official name of Toukmeas is Banteaymeas but many people call Toukmeas(golden boat) because they have a related story about Toukmeas. As I knew from the elders who live in Toukmeas told me that long long time ago, there was a boat contained full of gold from China and passed through Toukmeas river. That boat was belong to the Chinese business men and then sank into Toukmeas river.

No one could take the gold from that boat; after many centuries, France controlled Cambodia almost a hundred year and France solders tried to go under the water to take the golds but they did not get success because whenever they jumped to the water, it had caused the thunder and the sky became heavy rain. Some of them was killed by thunder and some could not come up from the water. Because of this story, people call Toukmeas ( golden boat) until now.
This is just a summery story that I had heard from the elder people in Toukmeas. I am not sure it is the true story or not. I will search more about this in the future. Thanks for reading .
